clang amd64 package still in Noble proposed?

Asked by Matt Baker

Seems it's available as clang-18 and clang for other archs but not for amd64? https://packages.ubuntu.com/noble/clang

I can install clang-18 to work around it. I guess it's slow making it out after the xz rebuilds?

Launchpad shows that the package is available.
https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/llvm-defaults lists a clang package for Ubuntu noble amd64 with version 18.0-59~exp1 in the "release" repository and version 18.0-59~exp2 in "proposed".

Maybe something went wrong with an update on the packages.ubuntu.com web site (which is for information purposes only, no warranty given)

What output do you receive for the commands

sudo apt update
apt policy clang

Thanks for your reply! It seems to have been a temporary glitch. It's showing the `~exp2` version as available now. This morning I had messages from a packer build that there was no `clang` package available.
