Since yesterday llk has failed to open as described in the summary. Toshiba laptop. Processor Intel Core 2 Duo CPU T6500 @ 2.10GHz x 2. Graphics Gallium 0.4 on AMD RV730. Ubuntu 15.04 64-bit

Ubuntu 15.04 (Ubuntu Vivid) is EOL and no longer supported in any way. I suggest you wipe it off the system and do a clean install of 16.04 (Ubuntu Xenial). This is supported until April 2016
