Mario,

I don't know where to find the patch. I just know that by updating to latest
SVN the problem is resolved. This effects many users especially considering
the rising popularity of MythBuntu, etc.

How else can I help with this? I understand this package is particularly
difficult as I tried to compile it myself and failed.
