Comment 13 for bug 182530

I believe it is a bug in lircd or a related library, not the lirc_serial
module. It's existent on all the transmission hardware i have tested and
have access to (pvr150, serial).

To ensure that it is in the lirc source and not just a packaging problem, I
recompiled 0.8.3pre1 in the same manner as I did with CVS with the same
results:

0.8.3pre1 -- no output
CVS -- success
