are you talking about _sending_ IR signals? If so, then I must have missed something.. I didn't read the whole thread before replying this morning. But yes, *receiving* IR signals using lirc_serial works for me.

I'm not sure if top-posting or bottom-posting is preferred on launchpad, I'm just not used to seeing top-posting :)
