Furthermore you have to be aware that Ubuntu is copying packages from Debian (to avoid double packaging work), and so Debian has only version 1.11.*

Remark:
For me the changelog https://github.com/nojhan/liquidprompt/blob/master/CHANGELOG.md does NOT indicate that version 1.12.0 is already published, it currently tells
