Updated frequencies for uk-SuttonColdfield

Asked by Rob Hughes

Hi

I have been following a guide to installing MythTV that suggests using dvb-apps to test the DVB-T card installed in my system. While trying to use this I discovered that the details in the uk-SuttonColdfield file are wrong. These have changed since Digital Switch Over (DSO) in the UK.

I have collected the up-to-date frequencies etc. and updated my own local copy of the file and can know successfully scan and pick up all muxes/channels from the Sutton Coldfield transmitter. The only exception being the HD mux as I don't have an HD tuner so can't test these settings.

Rather than report a bug I thought it may be better to be able to provide either a copy of my working file or the details that need to go in it. I'm very new to Ubuntu and dvb-apps so apologies if this is the wrong way to go about doing things, just wanted to do my bit to help.

Yes report the bug and attach the proposed file to the bug. It will more than likely get added to the packages and roled out as an update if the guys test it as ok.
People doing their bit to help is what makes linux great and is why it is so rapid in development :). I love stories like this!!

Can you help with this problem?
