My nettop crashes when battery at about 50%

Asked by xharx

English translation:
Since Xubuntu Karmic my nettop (acer aspire one 110) crashes, when the battery reaches about 50%. Black screen, no ping, no reisub. I tried to find the reason for this by testing different versions. The problem emerges only with Karmic, also when I Boot over USB, also with the netbook remix (that means without having changed anything in the original configuration)
When I use a Mainline- Kernel, the battery discharges normaly, but then I miss the trackpad support.

Changes in the energy management don't show results.

Is this really a kernel- Problem or do I have to search the mistake in a service that doesn't start under the mainline- kernel (as the trackpad support)? Does it make sence to experiment with the kernel or will a few changes on the user level fix this problem?

Also note my bugreport #470461
