installed ubuntu 9.10 yesterday. f-spot photo manager worked fine after installation for awhile. Now I cannot edit photos - nothing happens when I click on edit & I cannot find photos by using tags. I can browse entire selection. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling to no avail.

Upgraded to ubuntu 9.10. f-spot photo mamger was working fine after install. Then it stopped working fine. Nothing happens when I select edit button. The area on the left side of the screen with edit options does not appear. Also, cannot select photos by selecting tags. Nothing happens. Can browse all photos. Can see slide show and full screen. I tried uninstalling f-spot photo mamager and reinstalling to no avail.

In View --> Components you should have the Sidebar option checked. Is that true? Or you can press F9 key to show/hide it.

Good luck
