Pixart webcam not recognized by camorama

Hi
I have a webcam

Bus 002 Device 007: ID 093a:2468 Pixart Imaging, Inc. Cammaestro 2.5DU/X-EYE/Orite SC-120/ICGear TravelCam/Easy Snap Snake Eye WebCam

It isn't recognized neither by ekiga softphone or camorama.
I installed a chesee webcam booth and it works with funny colors.
I have gspca-source installed.

Can someone help?

Hi,

It looks like the same problem (or a very similar one) is already reported: bug #292297. You may also have a look at bug #363195 and bug #320296, which seem to be about the same chipset. Don't hesitate to provide more info if you can.

thanks, It does indeed look like the same problem, no solution though.
Apparently it has something to do with some PJPG palette some programs (bug #363195 ) . I don't know what to do to now.

If you want WoW then you definitely would possibly just like the local linux video games "Wesnoth" and "Glest" even though they don't generally play as online video games however Glest is stunning and slightly spooky where Wesnoth has a few wonderful a laugh campaigns.
