Mouse M602 programmed keystrokes stopped being recognized

Asked by Paul Getson

When I rebooted my machine for these latest update for these files:
linux-libc-dev 4.15.0-136.140 4.15.0-137-141
linux-headers-generic-hwe-18.04 5.4.0.66.74~18.04.61 5.4.0.67.75~18.04.l62
linux-image-generic-hwe-18.04 5.4.0.66.74~18.04.61 5.4.0.67.75~18.04.l62
linux-generic-hwe-18.04 5.4.0.66.74~18.04.61 5.4.0.67.75~18.04.l62
my wireless programmable mouse programmed keystrokes stopped working.

This is an older Logitech M602 gamer mouse which I have reprogrammed to have certain keystrokes. I have to program it on a Windows machine, but I use it on my Mint 19.3 installation.

When I started to work, the keystrokes no longer were recognized. I know the mouse works, since it runs fine on a machine running Mint 20.

Is there a way to 'Roll Back' the update until it gets fixed? I'm not really expecting an answer since my situation may be unique.
