No Sound: dummy output 20.10 (Groovy Gorilla) acer swift 3 ryzen 7

Just installed 20.10 and noticed that sound working in 20.04.1 no longer works in 20.10 on the Acer Swift 3 Ryzen 7. I am new to linux and would appreciate assistance to resolve and also how to better report this issues in a constructive manner

***Update***
I ended up avoiding the problem by just going back to Ubuntu 20.04 LTS and updating the kernel to 5.9.1.
