Wired connection abruptly slows down and latency up to 100ms
waldi@Waldi:~$ cat /proc/interrupts
...
IRC 18: 2597859 9888372 IO-APIC 18-fasteoi enp5s0
Then look in Important logs:
Disabling IRQ #18
[<00000000f8765
handlers:
irq 18: nobody cared (try booting with the "irqpoll" option)
I get my Linux Mint 19.1 in suspend mode and in a few seconds awake - connection is fast again!
It happens again and again, several times/dozens per day.
Has anyone any idea?

Linux Mint is not supported by the Ubuntu community or Canonical in any way. Mint's support community is entirely separate from Ubuntu's.
I suggest you post on the Mint forum here
https:/
None of the "Ubuntu based" distributions are supported here. There are distribution agnostic forums on the Web but this isn't one of them

Thanks! There is russian spirit in your answer. They adore orthodox canonicity! Very useful answer. Thanks you again.
