The attached logs correspond to booting the same ASUS UX533FN laptop, but this time using the Ubuntu 20.04 live-USB that was used to install Ubuntu 20.04 in the first place.

Here, booting with the Live-USB, I can hear the fan is working!

The kernel is
Linux ubuntu 5.4.0-26-generic #30-Ubuntu SMP Mon Apr 20 16:58:30 UTC 2020 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
in case it makes any difference.

I'm sorry filing this bug automatically (from Ubuntu 20.04 LTS Live-USB) has failed since no technical information was joined.
So I'd like to remove this bug.

Add it to the bug, you don't need a question too if a bug is open for the problem
