Related to frequent crash of kernel 4.15

After installing Kernal 4.15.0-38-40 bug got fixed. I was able to use without frequent crash. The crash rate at ok level. I was enjoying solid performance. But the bug reappear once got updated of 4.15.0-38-41.

The old kernal 4.15.0-38-40 is working well. But latest 4.15.0-38-41.

I am not aware of a kernel package 4.15.0-38-40 in Ubuntu 18.04 (bionic).

The version numbers of the most recent Linux kernel packages are (in chronological oder)
4.15.0-35.38
4.15.0-36.39
4.15.0-37.40
4.15.0-38.41
4.15.0-39.42

Similar for the Linux-meta package
4.15.0.35.37
4.15.0.36.38
4.15.0.37.39
4.15.0.38.40
4.15.0.39.41

Please re-check the numbers.

What happens if you boot your system with the older (-38) kernel? IS the system stable again?

Yes it was. Plz hold this because, 3 hrs before after doing upgrade, i found that xserver-common got broken. And reinstalling xserver-common no crash for last 3 hrs. If no crash for more 10 hrs then my issue is resolved. Sorry for troubling you a lot. Main reason is the i cant use system continue for 2 hrs. Before upgrading from 16.04 even if i left my pc on for 2 days I had no complaints. I use this system to do work. These crashes breaking git comment. I have to do manual fsck twice in a week.

You can close this question. I am able to use computer without any crush. Kernel 4.15.0.39.41 working fine. Last upgrade have broken xserver-common. Reinstalling solves the issue.

As suggested in xdiagnose, I disabled vasedf for precaution.
