My System details:-

OS: 16.04.03

The suspected changes: -

  [1]: https://i.stack.imgur.com/PU6xt.png
  [2]: https://i.stack.imgur.com/ebVT6.png

Exact behaviours:-

The behaviour is similar to virus attack in windows pc. The issue starts when I have installed update for kernel 4.10.0~ and above.

I have tried kernel versions 4.10.0-35, 4.10.0-37, 4.10.0-38 (prescribed for 16.04) 4.11(tested RC version for 16.04).

I have also preformed the prescribed troubleshooting wiki.ubuntu and related and askubuntu. like

deleting .Xauthority from home
reinstalling nvidia
checking for flrgx (I am sure that it is not interrupting in my boot process).
etc ......

I have switched the nvidia to nouveau too.

But the same is working well if I switch to 4.4~ kernel.

Due to my bad luck I am not able to run ubuntu-bug.

Network not working in 4.10~ kernel. screen resolution not detecting.

Being new to linux system I don't know much procedure to troubleshoot the issue.

There is one more problem whatever the kernel I install that particular configuration is getting uploaded to kernel. I fear that If I switch my kernel to 4.4 (current only working) will also corrupt that too.
