Acer aspire one netbook wifi problems
alright,
i have the netbook edition of ubuntu 10.4 on my Acer Aspire one netbook, sometimes the LED/killswitch for the wifi works, but thats not my problem.
the computer recognizes the wifi connection, but i cant get internet, i have even downloaded google chrome and it still wont go, i cant even download from the so called wifi "connection" so i use a cable to hook it up and get on the internet. i think its a problem with my server. i have gone to ubuntu.com and searched this problem up and it gave me instructions that included messing with the terminal. i followed them out perfectly and nothing changed. if anyone has any advice i would greatly appreciate it. i have been on this for a week now and no improvement

I have a somewhat different Aspire One, but the same wireless adapter. I got my wireless working on Intrepid with the instructions on https:/
I haven't bother about the LED and kill switch so far.
