I continually get an error when using Software Updater to download and install latest upgrades to Ubuntu 14.04. Error involves inability to install the Headers package. This was originally listed as a bug and confirmed (see that information on the bug page under Bug #1348964), but has now "expired" so no one is working on it. The originally suggested solution does not work. This error occurs every time upgrades are made available and installed. Apparently I am the only one affected by this bug. Now, when I start Ubuntu I am getting a "Program Error" message. My concern is that if this bug is not resolved soon, errors will multiply and I will have to wipe my harddrive and start all over again. Does anyone have any possible solution?
Thanks.
