How does one stop Acer Aspire 5750-9668 laptop from shutting down when the power cord is adjusted?

Asked by penalvch

What happens when I adjust the power cord slightly is the computer looks like it received a shutdown event. Previously, when I was using an HDD, a message would pop up asking if I wanted to shutdown, which I didn't. However, now that I'm using an SSD, it just immediately starts shutting down without my being able to either prevent the event altogether, or say no.

Hence, how does one stop Acer Aspire 5750-9668 laptop from shutting down when the power cord is adjusted?

I suggest you report a bug. Be sure you have the latest BIOS if the system uses one

Can you help with this problem?
