Am working with ubuntu for my main project.. I need help from experts, to learn ubuntu more...
I have to work in kernel level and am not much aware of ubuntu kernel.. So to clear my doubts i need the support of ubuntu experts...
I am planning an improved pipelining method or am introducing a new technology for cache management other than branch prediction.. I just started with it.. So please support me by giving valuable information about pipelining data loading to cache, page table, process descriptors etc .....

This forum is aimed predominantly at end users so I doubt you will get a lot of detailed technical information on the internals of linux. Though I would like to be plesently surprised about this.

I suggest you download the source from here

http://www.kernel.org/

and find a good book from your local bookshop or library. There are lots of good ones and the best way to understand code is to work with it

The book recommend by Andrew is worth reading. Don't do what I did however and buy the Kindle edition. Some of the tables are too small to read easily but I'm sure they are OK in the print edition.
