what is the serialports in /dev/xxxx to beagleboard-xm and ubuntu 12.04

I probe to use /dev/ttyO0 and /dev/ttyO1 to connect to beagleboard-xm but I can't connect.
I have the beagleboard-xm and a expansion board (tincantools)

The correct ports are:
/dev/ttyO1 (connect to Expansion Board) and /dev/ttyO2 to external serial connection
