Problems with 2.6.32-37 generic

Asked by Haaby

After a actualization , 10.4 , the grub offers the possibility of using different kernels: 2.6.32-35 up to 2.6.32-37 generic, that don't recognize the scanner, and the applets in the panels disappear. It also offers the 2.6.32-35 generic on /dev/sdb5: using it, everything works fine. ¿ Any way to get rid of the non-working ones, or get the newest one working right, or "on /dev/sdb5" ?
Thanks for the help !!

edit the grub.cfg file and remove the kernels that don't work. you have to look at the file carefully as you'll have to remove a block of lines.

you should also go into synaptic package manager and delete the kernels you don't want.
