Pointer freezes arbitrarily on ubuntu 11.10

Hello,
I have installed ubuntu 11.10 on my Lenovo B570 laptop. Many times I observed the problem with pointer. It freezes arbitrarily. After that I won't be able to do any operation. Then I need to do logout and login again to make it running. Please help me to fix this problem. Thanks..

I don't have tested RAM in Grub.
Can you tell me the procedure please?

Instead of asking you could have done some VERY basic web searching and found a how to, this not only makes you more antonymous it also teaches you more about your OS. It also makes things faster as you are not sat waiting for someone to reply..

If you hold shift at boot, you will see the grub menu and can choose memtest from there using cursors. This is bad:
