Upgrading Ubuntu 11.10

Hello after upgrading Ubuntu I restarted the computer and now the os doesn't start. It gives me

error: cannot read the Linux header.
error: you need to load the kernel first.

Can you help me please.

Hi, the upgrade sometimes give some errors. I suggest you to backup all your data from your system if you can. If you can't use a LiveCD. Then reinstall Ubuntu for security.
