I want to watch Analog Tv with Avermedia Volar Hybrid HD usb tvtuner !! on ubuntu 11.10 64bit. Avermedia Site has a driver ive installed it succesfully but can't watch tv

I want to watch Analog Tv with Avermedia Volar Hybrid HD usb tvtuner !! on ubuntu 11.10 64bit. Avermedia Site has a driver ive installed it succesfully but can't watch tv. (I see the video0 device and on vlc i have signal ->without sound)

My lsusb is Avermedia Technologies, Inc.

Please have in mind that i want to watch ONLY ANALOG TV ---> not dvb
Also if you dont know just dont post an answer, thank you.

Kindly post how you get it working. I've a somewhat similar Avermedia Hybrid Volar HX TV tuner ,model A827, and I've just downloaded the Linux beta driver from Avermedia website. Not quite sure how to install it. Help appreciated.
