(SOLVED) Why do i get this error? ""unable to handle kernel NULL pointer dereference at 0000001c""

Asked by Lasse Vinther Tyron

Trying to move files from USB HDD to PC HDD. It also happens when accessing files on the USB HDD.
Ubuntu changes to "text-mode" showing what seems to be kern.log. I do not know how to return to GUI without restarting.
Not able to shut down when pressing power-button. Needs to cut power and restart.
