Ubuntu 10.10

I had Ubuntu 10.04 LTS on my HP computer and I decided to upgrade to the new 10.10. As soon as I did that my computer became incredibly slow, it freezes with every program and it wont let me open online games that I used to use perfectly with Ubuntu 10.04 LTS...

Can someone tell me what could be going on? is there any requirements for installing Ubuntu 10.10 ?

Can you paste the output off "ps aux"?
Then you can see the momory usage. Maybe there is a paticular process claiming resources.
