AVERMEDIA SUPER-007 HYBRID PROBLEM

Asked by CONSTANTINOS PATSIOS

Hello , i've been using ubuntu 10.10 32 bit for two weeks and my previous system was windows 7 . The only problem i have is the tv-card pci avermedia super 007 hybrid which seems to be recognised from the system but can't find any channels when scanning with the programs that most ubuntu users have. I followed the steps from some forums i found by googling but no luck . Best shot was Metv which actually found a channel with very very poor signal . The antenna is ok though cause it worked perfect in windows and also in my tv. Any ideas ?

Can you give the output of:

lspci

The make and model is moot, we need to know the CHIP it uses as that's what the OS sees.
