Power Management Setting activating while removing power

am using Edubundu 10.4 on my netbook. power management settings (On Battery Mode: lid closing settings : Suspend) activates while i remove the power. i am not expert i need step by step instruction if possible. using N455 atom netbook. when power goes i need to reactivate suspend mode. also some times suspend mode could not wake up.
