1) The config file : /etc/default/tmpfs is no longer installed and therefore doesn't contain a comment that says "Adjust the default size of /dev/shm by uncommenting the line below" (or whatever it said exactly)
2) /dev/shm is now mounted as /run/shm who's size is controlled by some other form of black magic
3) The reason I needed the size change was to tweak the now obsolete vmware server 2.x
I'd say this issue can be folded, spindled, and mutilated.
Given that:
