Brian, thanks for your response. Sorry for the delay in uploading the required information. I didnt know which package this bug belonged to so I left it unclassified. I'm sure the more experienced guys here can classify it better.

Hans, there are couple of key differences between this bug and https://bugs.edge.launchpad.net/bugs/401126 . This bug is for the RTL8192S*U* USB based device rather than the RTL8192S*E* PCI device.
