Comment 51 for bug 213081

To clearify: I had a test kernel prepared for Brian which contained those fixes by Ilpo. However this did not solve his printing problem. So there is still the question which parts might be missing. Maybe there are several things getting together. So currently we either miss something or there are several issues.
You could try the test kernel in my PPA https://launchpad.net/~stefan-bader-canonical/+archive which contains the patches from Ilpo and tell me whether there is an improvement for you.
