I booted the intrepid system and update manager offered me an upgrade
that included the new kernel.
dmesg shows :- Linux version 2.6.27-1-generic (build@palmer) / Ubuntu
2.6.27.1
net.ipv4.tcp_frto is 2 (full logic enabled)
My test print job was successful.
I analysed a sniffer trace and the protocol is acceptable.
As far as I am concerned, the TCP fix in the latest kernel is correct.
