The kernel part is now part of kvm/next scheduled for 4.20 (or whatever version number that will be)

As of today 3 followup patch are scheduled as well.

we are working on qemu patch (currently v9 on the qemu list, with a v10 expected to be merged for 3.1).
libvirt patches are also in preparation.
