Inclusion of cdc-acm patch in Ubuntu kernel

Asked by Steve Romanow

Linus has applied a patch upstream in the cdc-acm driver that will help moto q users.

Can this be applied to 2.6.20 kernel for feisty?

http://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=7914

This patch will hopefully resolve a return code -22 from the cdc-acm dmesg output.
The goal is to use my moto q as a usb modem, ala cdc-acm. THis has previoulsy worked with my palm 700p, and works with xp with the Q.
