where is my xorg.conf

Asked by Bill

I had Fiesty, had the spinning cube with Beryll. I could watch DVD's with xzine. Multimedia.
Now I can do none of that with Gutsy Gibbon. I can't get past the "you don't need restricted resources."
I have gone back and forth between add/remove applications and synaptic .
I have no sound. It came , it went.

what should I put in my xorg.conf when I edit it?
My Fiesty Fawn was singing and dancing.Everything.

I have 2 monitors(heads) sometimes.
None of the System/Appearance/Visual Effects above "none" are allowed.

CompizConfig Settings Manager looks hopeful but doesn't work.

ATI Radeon

Help before I Totally Erase and go back to my finely tuned Fiesty.

Bill, did you add the restricted and the unsupported software channels in the System>Administration>Software Channel????? If you didn't, do it and then try to update.
About your sound and video, what is your system specs??? Motherboard, soundcard, and what card is yours ATI radeon?
I recommend you to uninstall all your beryl and related files and reinstall them. Including your graphic card drivers.
Give me info on your system, i'll see if i can help you anymore.
Good luck!!! Don't give up.

Can you help with this problem?
