Will 23.10 receive the patches from 6.7.0-1001 kernel?

Asked by Dmytro

Due to a bug in pcie-brcmstb driver since kernel 6.2 (see https://github.com/raspberrypi/linux/commit/ca5dcc76314d1fa6d7307fd3b95039b08d2f2b97 ) it's impossible to enumerate and use NVME devices on rpi5. The bug is fixed in 6.6.x (see https://github.com/raspberrypi/linux/commit/2677529a4f8a50c7567f50d67f368f1d138fb4d2 ) and is included into the kernel 6.7.0-1001 for the upcoming 24.04 Noble release.

Is there a chance, that before 24.04 release - this bugfix can be backported to the current 6.5 kernel of 23.10, as it's the only ubuntu distro that has rpi5 support ? Or othwerway - will 23.10 receive the kernel 6.7 ?

Thank you

I suggest that you create a bug report with all details (effect of the error, patch for correcting - if such bug report does not yet exist).

Can you help with this problem?
