This happened during an update: I have spl-dkms (0.6.5.6-0ubuntu4) installed on xenial. The update pulled in linux-image-4.13.0.32-generic and the compilation of spl-dkms for that kernel failed. I've pasted the output of the compilation below. To me, this looks like https://github.com/zfsonlinux/spl/issues/618, where it says that 0.6.5.6 won't work for 4.13 kernels. I've currently downgraded the kernel and put linux-image-generic-hwe-16.04 on hold.
