Real time kernel patch

Asked by Felipe L. Santos

Hello everyone. I've been working with a embedded board, with a intel iot CPU, using kernel version tracked here. We would like to understand the viability of this board to run realtime applications. Based on my previous experience with other CPUs, there are kernel RT patches to set the kernel for realtime execution.

I could not find a specific patch for this kernel yet, then I'd like to confirm if the PREEMPT_RT patch is the proper version I'm looking for:

- https://cdn.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/projects/rt/5.15/

Thanks in advance.
