Module nvme-tcp not found in directory

Asked by HARIHARAN

I dont find this module in recent linux images (5.15.0-1034-azure) from azure while it was there in older releases. Atleast when I checked 5.4.0-1104-azure

Any reason why it was removed?

Which Ubuntu release are you running?

As far as I can see the nvme-tcp.ko kernel driver file is contained in the linux-modules-extra-5.15.0-1034-azure package.
Maybe you have just installed the bare kernel without the extra modules package.

apt-get install <extra-package> helped. Sorry to raise such a dumb question in this form. I was using this release. But when I was using 5.4.0-1104-azure based Ubuntu, I didnt have to do this and thats why I was confused.

root@aks-1:/# lsb_release -a
