Volume automatically lowered after playback starts

I'm running Lightspark in an installation of Trisquel GNU Linux 6.0, with the plugin and Mozilla Browser 21.0. When a stream starts, the audio volume is at 100%, and is lowered within 10 seconds of playback start. While stream is playing, I can set per-application volume, but my setting does not persist.

Trisqel is not supported in any of the Ubuntu support channels. It has it's own forum, IRC channels and so forth. It may be based on Ubuntu but NONE of the 'Ubuntu based' distributions are supported in the Ubuntu channels. The Ubuntu support network is for distributions released by Canonical like Xubuntu, Kubuntu, Lubuntu, Ubuntu, Edubuntu and Medibuntu.
