Feature request: Gwibber social integration and email integration

Asked by Ian W Scott

I'm loving Lightread. One thing that would make it even better is the ability (common in mobile feed readers) to quickly Tweet a link or send it to someone by email. It seems to me that Ubuntu's Gwibber integration would make this quite easy, at least for social networks. Email might be more complex. I don't know. Anyhow, I hope this is in the works.

I suggest you report a bug and/or report this on http://brainstorm.ubuntu.com

But this isn't a bug, it's a feature request. And Ubuntu brainstorm is for OS-level things, isn't it? It's not for third-party app developers. Why do you keep telling people not to ask questions here? Isn't that what "Questions" is for????

Try talking directly to the developers

actionparsnip is right - Ubuntu Questions is for other users to ask for help with their systems, not for feature requests.

I have looked at the Lightread bugtracker, the feature you requested has been committed to the development version (see linked bug report), so, when a new release is made and synced to the Ubuntu repositories, it will be there.
