Want to install Sunbird in Lucid
I'm trying to install Sunbird calendar.
It doesn't show up in Synaptic and when I try to install it from Add/Remove it says: "To show information about this item, the software catalog needs updating."
When I check Software Sources the following are marked:
Canonical
Community
Proprietary
Software restricted
Source code
Trying to install it using Terminal (sudo apt-get install sunbird) just gives me:
sudo apt-get install sunbird
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
E: Couldn't find package sunbird
Any suggestions?
TIA

Hi there Mark
thanks for the links. Got Sunbird installed.
Wouldn't mind using Thunderbird, but just got to love Evolution (just not the calendar with Google - does some funny things at times).
I found the 2nd link to be what I wanted (http://
