Lightdm allways loads default session

Asked by Erik

Hi.

Installed XBMC standalone on my HTPC, and to get it to autostart XBMC I changed the /etc/lightdm/lightdm.conf to load xbmc session instead of Ubuntu. But it still always loaded Ubuntu. After hours of back and forth I tried to see if it would start XBMX if I changed to content in /usr/share/xsessions/ubuntu with the content in XBMC.desktop, and after that it started up in XBMC, but this solution makes me unable to go back and forth from XBMC and Ubuntu if I want to exit XBMC, it only logs back into XBMC again.

There is no 'XBMC standalone', XBMC is installable in Ubuntu....

Can you help with this problem?
