Asked by Matthew Wagner on 2011-10-18

Previous versions the password was not required when cold booting, now it does. I would like to remove this if possible without reinstalling.

Anybody know how to fix this?

Which DE do you use?

Matthew Wagner (mwag58) said : #3

DE??

desktop environmnt. Gnome? KDE? XFCE? LXDE?

Matthew Wagner (mwag58) said : #5

11.10

Thats the release. There is a KDE release of 11.10. There is a Gnome release of 11.10 and so on. Lets make this dead easy.

Does your desktop look like this:

Or like this:
