Asked by Simon Baconnais on 2010-03-05

Blueprints aren't opended so i post here.

I found a blog post talking about Ubuntu new theme which is quite interesting.

The guy is quite aggressive, but please try to focus on his proposition and not on himself :P

Here is the link :

Hope it will help you :)

Hi :)

Moving the buttons to the other end of the title bar is a nightmare for me. It reminds me of Puppy Linux

With those buttons on the right Windows users are much more comfortable switching to Ubuntu. Moving them to the left just squeezes everything into a tiny space increasing the chances of accidents while leaving vast empty areas useless. lol

Ahh well, progress and then reverting it back a few years later makes sense i guess

Good luck and regards from
Tom :)

Hi :)

Have you been able to test the new Ubuntu 10.04 before it gets officially released?
Trying it as a LiveCd or as an extra dual/multi-boot would be ideal. Developers and everyone are keen to try to iron out any problems before 10.04 gets officially released so you might find faster & more effective answers to your bug reports which would make 10.04 work better on your system for you

Thanks and regards from
Tom :)
