But that's what the current code does! It removes the one item that was clicked and resets attention status from the others.

Perhaps *closing* the Liferea window should remove all indicators? As it is currently implemented, if you click some indicators now, then close the Liferea window, the other indicators will stay in the menu until the next scheduled feed update.
