After upgrade libvirt* from 8.6.0-0ubuntu3.2~backport20.04.202305311233~ubuntu20.04.1 to 9.0.0-2ubuntu1.3~backport20.04.202312120050~ubuntu20.04.1 released 16.1. 2024 ppa, libvirt-daemon-system - (9.0.0-2ubuntu1. 3~backport20.04.202312120050~ubuntu20.04.1 - crashed

Please provide the output of the command

apt policy libvirt-daemon-system

The version that you have installed seems to stem from a PPA.

My ubuntu 20.04 without upgrade see below and when I try upgrade system.

root#apt update && apt dist-upgrade - System-libvirt will be crashed.

Then you used a PPA and got issues. You can either contact the PPA maintainer or you can use ppa-purge to remove the PPA and its updates so you are using the official packages from the official repost which are known to work and then go from there.

The official package does not contain virtiofs, for Ubuntu 20.04, therefore I chose ppa.

If you have a problem with software from a PPA, then you have to contact the provider of the PPA.
In your case please see https://launchpad.net/~canonical-server/+archive/ubuntu/server-backports

I fixed it, is necessary to install pokitd, finalrd packages from jammy.
