Feedback from Ubuntu developer needed

This bug needs feedback from an Ubuntu developer or someone who can decide about the package libsdl1.2 in Ubuntu 12.04.

How does that usually work?
Will someone check the bugreports for updates regularly and notice it or should I contact someone (who?)?

It didn't need much patience :).
Apparently the status was changed to "Fix Released" because a newer version without that bug is already used in Ubuntu 12.10.
I was told to contact the “Nominate to Ubuntu Release Series” team in order to get it (hopefully) released for Ubuntu 12.04.
