HI Brenda,

You don't say what, if anything, has changed on your computer, or whether these are documents are new, or if they are old documents that used to be OK, etc, etc.

So I am going to suggest you re-start your computer. Open up Files (the file explorer). If hidden files (those that begin with a dot) are not showing, do Ctrl-H to show them. Double click on .config to show the files in that folder. Go to the libreoffice folder, right click it and select Rename. Change the name to libreoffice_old. Then start up Libreoffice. It will create a new libreoffice folder in .config. Note that this will remove any customisations that you may have done to Libreoffice.

Does this solve your problem?

Can you please give the name and path to one of the files.

You may also want to run:

sudo chown -R $USER:$USER $HOME

So that your user is the owner of its own home. You don't need to change the command. The BASH variables will manage themselves

Can you help with this problem?
